Default 1996 Ram 1500 not starting

anyone have this problem and has any ideas please respond. it had charging issues so i replaced the battery. this was good for about 4 days. Next i replaced the altenator. Now it says "high voltage" problem. if this would been my chevy i would have looked at the voltage regulator. BUT being a dodge there regulators are inside the ECM controller. NOW it wont start at all. ANY IDEAS would be greatly appreciated.

bad or torn wire grounding out? no real reason your truck would trigger a high voltage situation from a new alternator. so i would check all wires attached to charging system. you battery will only start your truck if your alternator is working properly. if the alternator crapped out the battery will take over until it drains. so my guess is if you have a fully charger battery and its still not starting look for bad wires. have you checked for spark voltage at the alternator? fuel getting to the motor?
