I had to cut the wire holding my spare tire under the truck, my question is this can I just buy a new wire or make somethign to put my spare tire back under the truck where it should be? I had to cut it cause i couldnt get the insert to fit into the slot to lower the tire.

 

I had to do the same thing on my '03, but if i'm goin on any long trips, i just put the spare in the back.
