RE: acetone and fuel mileage
This is a very intersting article and sounds amazing. However, I would be cautious using additives in gasoline until there is more detailed research. I also find it difficult to believe that acetone can increase gas mileage by 35%. Let's say that my truck is getting 20mpg presently and adding acetone would increase that by 35%. That means that I will be getting 27mpg!! This is very hard to belive, but I'm not saying it impossible. If they provide more results from creditable research agencies, then I would consider trying it.
If you decide to use it, let us know how it goes.

RE: acetone and fuel mileage
well it says on that page i posted that he's been using acetone for 50 years and hasn't had any trouble
with fuel lines it is more corosive to plastic then gasoline but fuel line plastic is resistant to the harmful effects of acetone and for 1-3 oz in 10 gallons of gas i wouldn't guess that it would affect it in any way
at least not for a verry long time.
