Default Air Flow Sensor or Programmer?

Im trying to decide on my next upgrade for my 01' 5.3L silverado. Right now i have a K&N intake and a magnaflow Catback. I was looking at the Hypertech Power III programmer but then i saw that it said tuned for mostly stock engine with intakes and catbacks only. I emailed them and said that it would do damage to my engine if i used it with a mass airflow sensor. So the Granatelli mass airslow sensor and the Power programmer are around the same price but after i get the programmer i cant use anymore upgrades. Which should i get. Anyone using a granatelli sensor? Good gains? How about the programmer?

Default RE: Air Flow Sensor or Programmer?

i have the maf upgrade along with k&n cold air intake, and flowmaster cat back, the maf was the last thing i did and it made a difference, but now i wish i would have gone with the hypertech, it has more benefits.
