(MAF) Mass Air Flow Sensor?

Default (MAF) Mass Air Flow Sensor?

is there any advantage to getting a new mass airflow sensor? they say online it adds more airflow and rear wheel horse power...any body have an aftermarket one installed?

Na. The stock MAF we have flwo more than enough air. Which means, unless you are running a big *** cam, high flow heads, and bigger throttle body, you wont need it. Trust me you wont tell any difference. The other thing you could do is bore out your throttle body. That help a bunch. The key here is with the throttle body bore, cold air intake, high flow air filter, it smooths out the flow of air ino the engine. Adding more air just itself does not yield more power. More air means more fuel. So lets say if you put a bigger throttle body, you need to put bigger injectors. Otherwise you will run lean.
