have, what is probably, another dumb question....

If I get long tubes put on, how will that affect my 40 series flow masters (single in, dual out). Would I have to remove it?

No you would not have to remove your existing exhaust, but there would be some modifying

if you get long tubes the catalytic converters have to be moved back a little bit.

I just called a few shops asking them about this ...it's amazing that the price they charge are all across the board....Anywhere from $75 in labor - $240.

I haven't purchased any yet ...those prices were just for install for long tubes ...which I recently discovered are illegal for me to install on my truck since I would have to relocate my cats.

If I do a swap, I have to get shorty's.
