i have a new 07 gmc classic 2500hd with the 6.0. my book says i have a allison trans. the one i have does have the tow-haul mode, is this a allison.

 

They all have tow haul...An allison is 6-speeds.I don't THINK you can get an Allison with a 6.0

 

I too am sure that you do not have the Allison behind the 6.0. If you do I`m gonna have to get me one of those!! If it`s the 4 speed, its the 4L80E which is a great trans.....but it sure will be nice when the Allison 6 speed is offered behind the 6.0. I`m betting it won`t be long now before it`s offerred since Toyota has the 6 speed auto in their 1/2 ton.
