Default Another exhaust thread

I am sure this has been debated to death, but I am going to ask it anyway. I am looking for a good replacement muffler that is not going to rob torque from my truck. I know a really free flowing exhaust gives HP gains but the torque tends to suffer. I am trying to make my 6.0 truck tow as good as possible and was wondering does anyone know of a muffler that will give a better sound and give a torque gain?????

Don't go with a true dual you will loose low end power try Borla you might even try Ebay also change out your stock Cat to a high flow Cat Magnaflow has good ones.

You're running a performance tune, right? Have a muffler shop splice in a Flowmaster/Magnaflow/Borla, get the tune updated if needed, and enjoy. I have a hard time believing the "loss of torque" claims with any cat back, muffler swap, etc. system except maybe the most large-by-huge single or dual setups. Factory manifolds, cats, pipes, etc. are all still in place and that is where most of the restriction lies. Sure, you put in full length headers, an X pipe, no cats and 3+" pipes and you will notice the difference. But a muffler? I doubt it. Or show me the dyno data..... RT
