Hello all , i look to find some info on 1/2 ton truck diesel , do you beleive Chevy will release it soon ?

It was scheduled to be released on the 2010 model truck, and my dad's mold shop made the mold for the engine covers, and it was a 4.4 Duramax by the way. They converted a factory in New York to make the engine, and then with the recent downturn in the automotive industry, they axed it. GM, Ford, and Dodge were all supposed to have a half ton diesel out in 2010, but it's been pushed back. I'd really love to see one out though...

I would think that a half ton diesel pickup would be capable of getting something close to 30mpg!
