This breather is on a 1995 GMC 3500 with a 454 TBI, but it is the wrong one.
I am trying to find out what it came off of so I can get the duct work that comes off of it to run to a cold air source.
The oval opening is 8" wide

Does anyone recognize it?

never seen one like that. I thought after 1994 they had two wingnuts to hold the top on. You might be able to get a whole new air intake for pretty cheap.

 

Looks like a 90's era air cleaner with an 80's era top.
