Auto headlight sensor
so.... had my truck detailed last week, looks good but... somehow the detailer pushed the little auto light sensor down through the dash. I can see it, but I have no idea how to get to it. I assuming Ima have to tear the dash out? anyone have any ideas? with my luck its probably the first thing that goes in before the cab gets set down on the chassis at the factory. I pulled the dash down a little bit, but I couldnt really see any way to reach it. any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Ya !!! What DaveB said.... And don't let the detailers fix it themselves. They should pay for you to take it to the dealership.
All else fails Your gonna have to remove the dash. If Remember correctly, the eye is mounted to the dash. Careful removing the dash, the wire is short. Unplug then remove the dash completely. Detailer probably bent the mounting clip

Normally I would agree with taking it up with the detailer but...... He's and older mexican guy that works out of his 55 chevy. He can't afford to buy new shoes, so there is no way he can get this issue ironed out. He's an old school greaser that hand washes and details like they did back in the day. I wont have anyone else wash my truck.. Ill just have to deal with it.
