Default Battery Issues.

I'm currently having a problem removing the battery in my '99 GMC Sierra. I've disconnected the cables and all that, but I can't seem to find what's holding the battery in place. Down in the front there's a bolt that appears it might be holding down the battery, but for the life of my I can't fit a socket/combo wrench down in there to loosen it, the space is just too small. Am I overlooking something? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thats the battery hold down brace. Ya gotta use a long extension and socket to take the bolt out. No other way around it. Thats the only thing holding it place.
