Default Best mods for me?

I have a 03 z71 extended cab with the 5.3L. Well it has a 4in rancho lift with 285/75r16 bfg all terrians. I live in the city, so the truck has enough power for day to day driving. But i also manage a Landscape business, and i have to pull a trailer, sometimes going down the interstates. Well i know the engine is stressed cause of the tires and pulling the trailer. I am wanting to either add a supercharger or turbo. Which is better? which companies make the best kits? kenne bell? sts? I am also thinking about just going ahead and getting a 6.0 and a 4L80e trans and then just doing a total swap. How easy is it? I greatly appricate all and any advice.

how much of a gain are you looking for cause if its really only for towing all three of those things seem overkill for what your loking for, especially cost wise.

Ive said it before, I'll say it again... MagnaCharger. They have a kit specifically for the 5.3. 400HP at the rear wheels. Extremely efficient compressor, air-to-water intercooler. Nice unit. I want one but my wife has me by the *****, know what I mean?

Give an idea of what you're willing to spend...

well i am gonna have this truck for a while, so i will eventually go all out. I am willing to spend....about 6k at most. I really don't want to change my axle ratio from stock. i was running down the interstate and it sits and runs 3k at 70-75, and it up-shifts every now and then but as soon as the incline increases, it downshifts again. I have exhaust and k&n cold air intake. Would a set of good flowing heads and cam do?

If you are willing to spend 6k then go with a turbo! These guy's are good to go with TRICK PERFORMANCE. One of the cool things about them is they spend time on LS1 trucks .com andPerformance Trucks .net. Allot of guys go with Trick and I never heard anything bad.

Texas Speed has some good deals on packages. If you're willing to spend that much, get a supercharger - great torque.
