Blinker noises
Hey all,
I bought a '99 Z71 and it has truly been a good truck, however it has a little quirk that annoys me. When I use the blinker signal, everything works, all lights, rythmic blinker "click", but after I turn and automatically cancel the blinker, it still makes the blinker "click" for a while. The lights don't blink, the dash light doesn't light up, but it still makes the "clicking" noise with no rythmic pattern, completly random. It does it usually all the time, but mostly while the cab is still cold in the morning or at night. Is there some kind ofa solonoid that I can replace or would it be something within the steering colum? Really stumped on this one, any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

RE: Blinker noises
I have never seen that on a pickup...however,Grand Ams and malibus do that, and its the t/s switch....does the wheel have to be turned for it to click....or will it click at a stop lite if your not touching the wheel?

RE: Blinker noises
It will usually click anytime after recently using it, butI can bedriving straight and it will still be clicking, stopped, sometimes even when I start the engine in the morning. Not sure if it has anything to do with temp, butit does it less when the cab is warm. What is a t/s switch and where is it located?
