want to put a dvd h/u and subs in the 06 but it has bose. this IS a problem right? i cant just do those two replacements w/ out replacing the whole system? (speakers and all) because ive heard it but dont kno if its just salesman b.s. to get u to buy more stuff.

 

yep it's all or nothing from what i've heard, each speaker has it's own amp, i've got the same problem, i'm just going to replace the sub in the console with one under the back seat drivers side of the crew cab.

I have a JBL and I am very much satisfied with it. Never heard of the problem that you have mentioned. I guess, there must be some alternative for the same. Better find that out, coz BOSE will be a bliss-full experience surely..
