Brake Change
Hey guys, What is needed for a brake pad change? Do you have to bleed the brakes when changing the pads or is that only when changing the calipers? Any advice is great.. thanks

RE: Brake Change
You will need to adjust the rears when you do them if it has drums. If not then no you will not need anything out of the ordinary. And no you will not need to blead the brakes for a Shoe or pad change. You will need to compress the calipers to get the new pads over the rotors. A great way to do that other than buying the tool that does it would be to use the old pads (not the new ones to prevent damage) and a big pair of chanel lock pliars and squeeze the hell out the pistons until they are compressed. Once you get done having the rotors and drums turned, make sure to pump up the brakes before you go and drive off. They will pump right back up, you just have to fill the pistons back up. Good luck and if you have any more questions make sure to get a chiltons manual. Or ask us here at TRUCKFORUMS.COM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! J/K!

in reply to your question about the supercharger...I recieved 117 horses from the charger but in regards to torque I have not stuck it on a dyno to find out. you thinking about blowing yours?
