Brake lights will not shut off after i put on the brakes. I changed out the switch changed the hydro booster and checked for broken wires and checked the grounds all i get is a headache checked the fuses they r fine so all i can come up with is the switch is sticking but i also read that the switch is adjustable so i will check on that. thank you. I have a 91 Chevy pickup 5 speed 4.3L V6. I f there is anything else anyone can think of please reply thanks.

attached wires depressed brake attached switch to brake pedal released brake pedal then reattached negative battery terminal

 

I seem to remember having to adjust something on it after it was installed. Man I can't remember exactly what I did. It was my brothers truck and he installed the switch and thought he got a faulty one so he brought it over. It was already installed and I did something under there and it started working right. It was like a year ago so I can't remember exactly. Sorry I know that is not much help.

Apply the brake pedal.
Pull the lever (A) back to its stop.
Pull the brake pedal against the pedal stop.
