A/C problems
Hi my name is Andre and I own a 1992 Chevrolet c1500 with a 305 engine. So about a year ago I had gotten my a/c fixed and converted from r-12 to r-134 system and everything was working fine until my alternator went out so I replaced my battery and alternator and now my a/c will not blow cold the compressor doesn't engage the fuses and relay are good freon is good no leaks what would be the next step on something to check? The alternator I installed is a 105 a alternator if that matters thank you verymuch !

My 93 G20 with the 350 is 134a. There is a jump you have to do with a wire when you charge my system. I can't do it and have a local guy who does, but somebody here knows how to do it I'm sure. I had plenty of refrigerant and no cool air, the guy pulled his trick with a wire, cool air.

Yeah, if it still doesn't blow cold, you'll need to touch the pipes going into the heater case to make sure one of them is cold. If the pipes going into the evaporator aren't cold, then there is indeed no refrigerant in the system.
