I have an 01 Z71 with brown interior. Im looking for the lid that goes on top of the center console. Mine is cracked. Its not like it doesnt work i just want it replaced. Other then the dealership anyone else have any ideas on where i could look for one. I looked all over the web and all i could find were aftermarket replacement consoles or the entire new console which was like a few hundred bucks. Any ideas or suggestions would be helpfull.

nope...its not serviceable at all...mostly due to the fact that its safety rated,such as in a crash

 

how bout checking junk yards? Just my .02 worth., Jim

 

no garauntee here but check out lmctruck.com they have alot of oem parts cheaper then the dealer but not garaunteeing they have it. maybe if your not in a rush you can luck out at a junkyard.

 

check E-bay motors, you can find them on there sometimes complete for around $150

 

The center console is crash rated? For the people in the back or incase an object falls from the sky, goes through the sunroof, and lands on it?
