ok got the check engine light and it said o2sensor and cylinder misfire. so i changed the plugs and fuel filter,sensors were replaced in 05. should i change the sensors again? check engine light came on again. ran good for a week and this morning was on my way to work doing bout 55-60 on freeway. got in next lane to pass and pressed the pedal and it stumbled slowed down and tried again and stumbled what should i do?

 

probably ignition...maybe a cap/rotor or coil wire....better get the codes checked

 

1. Did you replace all four of the O2 sensors?
2. Did you check the spark plug wires?

If you replaced all four O2 sensors, you should be ok for 100,000 miles or so. Check the spark plug wires, they might need replaced. Check to see that there is no arcing anywhere due to bad wires. Check the gap on all the plugs making sure they are all consistant and at the right gap. If it not the else fails you might need to replace the coil.

 

ok i just replaced the 02 sensers before the cats and changed the oil and filter plus put new plugs wire on. now will see whats happens. thank you guys for the help

 

thats kinda what mine did, except at lower RPMs. i changed the wires and pulled the plugs. one plug was bad.

 

ok now the check engine light came on again codes are P0134 o2 sensor and P0300 misfire. o2 sensors, plugs, wires, fuel filter, oil and filter changed. what else?

 

I think I may know...pull the code-related o2 sensor out...if its sooty as a chimney,the cat by it is clogged
