Custom tune by Charlie Wheatley?
When is this a good time to do. Or would money be better spent to wait for cold air intake and other mods first. Or since he can do free upgrades should i just do it and then when i get other stuff done have him update it then. Thanks guys
Yeah i was not going to go out and do it next week i justwas wondering if i should do this next or get other thing. I talked over email to hima bit last night and he seems like he knows what he is doing and they are a preety good price. I have also seen him run deals for the guys at texastruckscene.com lie 15% and 20% so maybe we can get something like that here.
Sweet. I suggest a cold air intake, exhaust, andheaders if you want them. If you want longtubes, get them anda catlessY pipe at the same time you are ordering the tune, as the tuner can delete the need for the rear O2 sensors (which measure how well your cats are working at burning the unburned fuel), and keep your truck from popping a code... I also (highly)suggest a 160 degree thermostat before the tune, so they can pull a few more degrees of timing out of your setup (more power)...
