I was wondering since I saw hemi killer said there was an additional port on the PCM, can you set that port to be a race tune setup? I know you can set the tow/haul button to be a race button, but I tow a boat, so I want to keep the tow haul. But I would like to add a new race button if it is possible. Any ideas?

 

Smoke I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you noticed a significant exhaust note change with the headers and also the x-pipe?

 

The exhaust sounds good, but not real loud except from 2-3000 rpm. I had lost alot of low end power, but I added some reducers to tehend of the pipe, and now I can spin the tires off the line at a little over half throttle. I am going to get some valves so I can adjust the flow to where I want from the cab on demand. The truck was fast as hell once I got to 3000 rpm before the reducers, so I am trying to get the best of both worlds.

 

Smoke, I saw a drop-top Corvette with a bored and stroked LS motorwith aLS7 top end and a big-*** nitrous system run 9.2 in the 1/4 on street tires. When he was done at the track, he drove it home... A few months later, I saw thesame car in the shop for some minor upgrades, and I saw that he had two PCMs in the car, and he just switched the connectors from one PCM to the other and went on his merry way... Just a thought...
