those recalls on clusters were for 04s i believe.

 

I had the letter in my hand last night and his is a 2003.

 

at least they reconizing their own failures on clusters, even if it is 5 years down the line.

 

For anyone interested the GM Telephone number is 866-790-5700,just ask for Chevrolet and they will want VIN# and your problem. I spoke to them a couple of hours ago about the even older problem on my 2002 with the odometer/gear selector going blank, they told me although MY vehicle isn't involved in the Cluster Campaign, but since I made a issue of it being a VERY widespread AND KNOWN problem they should include it they said I should get it diagnosed at a GM dealer and call them back with the diagnosis AND Reference number they gave me tonight and they will try to "Make things right". Your guess is as good as mine how far that will go.
