Dash hum in 2010 Silverado

Dash hum in 2010 Silverado
My dash at around 1000- 1500 RPM behind the radio and AC controls seems to have a hum in it. Funny thing is, it comes and goes, and it there when the radio and air system are all off.
Any ideas would could be causeing this? Just vibration? The tone changes with the rpm so I was thinking water pump/noise through the heater core?
Is any of that possible? Thanks guys for looking at your own trucks and giving me an possible clues
