Default descreened MAF

Read alot of people do it. What does it do? I had to take off the MAF when i put the K&N in, and install it back on the tube. Who does it, and what are the pros and cons? Thanx, Jim

You can do it yourself. It will let a little more air flow in the intake as well as let it flow more smoothly. I have found no cons as of yet. It is a little tricky to get it out, just be patint and pry the screen out away from the thin sensors. Also be sure to not damage the sensors.

If you do, it will be a $300 mistake.
