anyone know how to remove/ dissable the warning buzers/beepers. its on a 99silverado.

 

Find the buzzer and unhook it. I don't know where it is, but it cant be hard to find. Probably under the dash.

 

hooked up to the stock stereo... can buy an adapter for after market stereos w/ or w/o the beep. $15 w/o $110 w/ the beeb. Dont know which wire it is though.. Good luck

 

i dont think my truck is new enough to have the beep controlled through the stereo, ive took a look under the dash last night and located the sound to be right under the steering colum. there is a control unit of some sort blocking my view but i will be taking that off tomarrow, i'll let you know what i find.

 

You cant take it off it is soderd to a circiut board

 

LOL!!! Get a soldering gun hot, then melt it off.... Try that one and see if it works...
