2010 Silverado 1500 4x4
A few days after I had truck serviced I noticed the dome light does not come on when I opened the door. (Not saying they did anything wrong, just info.) I read a few posts and tried passenger side door and no light with that either. I tried turn reostate(sp) far to right and dome lights and box light do come on then. Tried with switch in, and out and neither position helped. I unhooked battery and that didn't do anything. I checked fuses and they are fine. Door controls for windows and lock work fine. Dash lights work. Does anyone have ideas what could be wrong???

 

Dome override switch next to headlamp switch. Press the button in and the dome lamps remain off when a door is opened. Press the button again to return it to the extended position so that the dome lamps come on when a door is opened.
