door lock switch problem

what would be the problem if the door lock switch doesn't work on a chevy silverado. any suggestions?

bro it helps if you put the year and model, and good question mine does the same, the button 2 lock the doors doesnt work you have 2 do it manually right?

Depends....year make and model helps lots....first you need to verify switch failure..does the switch have power to it? does the lock solinoid still work independant of the switch? Is it just one door or all of them?
