Driver Window Will Not Go Up At Times
Hello all,
We have a 2002 Suburban 1500 vehicle. Sometimes the drivers side window will not go back up when the raise button is pushed. When it does this we have to hit the button repeatedly and the window will finally go back up. Most of the time the window operates as designed. Where do we start? I suspect the switch itself. Is it replaceable? How do we replace the switch? Please Help!

It's not the switch, it's the window regulator. Same thing happened to my 03 silverado. The dealer wanted $450. Not including labor, I found one at auto parts wharehouse.com for $60. It was listed at $400. Marked down to $60. with free shipping. You can go to U Tube and look up window regulator. You'll see how to remove the door panel and how to replace the regulator. A regulator consist of two brackets some cables and a motor, all held in place by four bolt. I removed mine which had a broken rusty cable and installed the new one in under one hour. Usually what happens is the cable gets rusty, then frays and hangs up until it eventualy breaks.
