drivers side door won't lock after breakin...
hey all, got another one here.
i got my 2000 silverado a coupla months ago. before i got it, the orginal owner had it in the shop getiing stuff fixed on it. problem is, the shop was broken into and the drivers side door/window was messed with with a breakin bar(slimjim). now when i click the door lock with the remote, it ticks real loud and acts like it's locking but it don't. the passenger door locks good. i'm thinking a cable got disconnected in there?
ok, i know i need to pull the door panel off. whats the best way to do this? i unscrewed the screw at the door handle but didn't get much loose on it. whats the other tricks for doing this? any manual links to doing this? i have popped door panels off before on other trucks, but i don't want to tear this one up if i can prevent it.
thanks BR
