I'm doing dual in dual out of a 40 flowmaster, and dumping it out behind each rear wheel, kinda like the old 68 camaro's. $490, i get it done Wednesday.

They are 20's. I just put on the red door and tailgate handles also. Got the truck back from the exhaust shop last night. Sounds awsome but not at loud as i though it would going with a 40 series. You can see just the tip of the new exhaust behind the rear tire just below the rear quarter.

Now you just need a roll pan. To my dismay, my Super 40's were not near as loud as I thought they would be either... thats strange. Mine really sounds best with low rpms and just a little bit on the gas.

Chevy1224, I have the same problem on my 2001. I have super 40's and they are not quite as loud as I would like it. I was discussing this with one of friends who is an exhaust expert, and he stated that the super 40 is really designed for high horsepower vehicles. He said, usually over 400 horsepower they sound insane.

Oh... Well im not even sure what the stock hp for a 4.3 is, so I cant really gauge how much hp I have now... But ive problably gained about 20-40hp over stock. Thats really no where close to 400 hp. I guess probably around 250 or so. Oh well, I guess it does all right.
