I have the edlebrock and they are great. I have not personally owned the hooker headers, but they seem to be good, but just not last as long. I really depends on what you want. If you are looking to save money regardless then hooker, if you are looking long term then edlebrock. Just beware that in 2-3 years you may be swaping out the hookers, especially if you are in a corrosive area like near the ocean or up north where they salt the roads. Performance wise you will probably be safe with either.

I've always liked hookers.

I at one point was gonna buy a set of hooker headers and got talked out of it. My moms neighbor is a mechanic and does a lot of modification work for people so he tends to know his stuff. I asked him and he said that the part of the header that bolts up to the engine is to think on the hooker headers and that a little down the line after some wear and tear you might find yourself with a leak . Just something to consider.
