I wonder why he's not been piping in on any of our conversations lately. The only thing I've seen him post lately was that he got his tune installed and that's about it.

Sorry, been busy as ****.... Baby on the way and all... Hope it slows down soon... All you need to do on the 01 and up trucks is get pin # 42 activated by somebody like Charlie Wheatley, get the type of fans you want, (LS1) and get a harness from Nelson... Don't do the toggle switch idea... If the wife goes to drive your truck, you might get a phone call asking why your truck has a fog machine under the hood...

but if anybody else driving my truck runs the risk of being severely punished (as in texas justice style), would the toggle switch idea work?... im 18 years old and the only person who ever drove my truck was my dad the day i got it

LOL, that's true MrLM7. I'm not married but my mom and dad often borrow my truck... that would really stink. I'm about to research that "harness from Nelson" thing but in the event I don't find it would you mind filling us in on that?

So this is what you were talking about http://www.nelsonperformance.com/products.htm#fans. I was thinking about this, could you just remove the harness for the cooling fans from a truck that has electric cooling fans and use in yours? I mean if you are going to steal the fans you could steal the harness too right?

Any auto parts store will have an thermostatic relay to run anything you want for about $30.
