Default Electric fan conversion

I want to convert my factory clutch fan to dual electric fans for more power, mpgs, and to allow clearance for a TBS. I found this one on summit racing. Its a good brand but very pricey. What do you guys think? worth it?

Man that looks expensive, i would search the junkyards. The gain will not be worth that cost.

Either junkyard and take the risk of having to modify it, or buy the expensive kit. Take it from me I tried doing it with two big electric fans, a thermostat and fan controller. I saved about 300 bucks over the kit but gave up when I saw how much sh*t I'd have to modify to make it work. If you have a 28" rad, you'll have to modify what you pull from a junkyard anyways as they have a lip on either side that won't allow the fans to sit flush with the rad. Its either modify and use up alot of time or fork over the cash for it. (P.S. Removing the belt driven fan can be a pain too)
