i am thinking about swaping a 6.0 from a denali into my 2002 1500hd. they have more power output but i was wondering if the electronics are the same. any ideas???

 

you might have to see if the ecu and wire harnesses are the same because bigger engine have different stuff in them

What's coming out of the 02 1500HD in place of the 6.0L

 

the 2002 1500 hd has a 6.0 in it now. i was just wondering if the denali 6.0 would be a good upgrade. i will try to find an engine out of 02. i figured i would need a ecm but not sure about harness. my truck does pull a travel trailer in the summer so i was looking for a little more power. still tossing around duramax swap.
