exhaust
I am getting my exhaust done soon, and we have talked about this before, just checking to see if anyone has new input. My original plan was to do true daul, no cats, x-pipe, dual flowmaster 40s. Then I found it was better to leave the cats in as the minimal power gain was not worth the milage loss. Now after reading on flowmasters website, it says they do not recommend changing from single pipe to dual before the muffler as these trucks are not made to have that much exhaust flow. Now with that said, I have done improvements and plan on many more, so I am making more power than stock, and it will continue to increase. So should I think about leaving the factory Y pipe then split it back out to the dual mufflers or dual all the way?
I would love to be able to anwser this but as you know i have the same question with my truck. On my last truck ijust went and spent $240 for flowmaster with dual 3 inch tip. I was thinking of doing the same tomy 05 but is this really doing anythingor does it just sound good.
Yeah i was going to but then i had to pay $1100 when my wifes car broke a valve spring. But its about cooling season here in oklahoma and i should be getting some extra cash soon.
So then i can start doing stuff to my truck.

That sucks when that **** happens. Always seems to be something when you get ready. Well if we work together we should find the best setup. especially since we have very similar trucks. which diff. gear doyou have?
I was told when I bought mine the only choices that year were 3.42 and 4.10. I screwed up and got the 3.42 (as I have bitched about before). The 3.73 was in theh catalog, but the dealer said it was not available.
