Default Exhaust question for '07 Classic

Hey guys, i'm a newb so hi! I've been looking at the forum as a guest for a couple monthsbut finally decided to join.

Anyway, I have a 2007 Extended Cab Z71 LT3 with the 5.3 flex fuel motor. I am leaning towards the Delta Flow 40 Flowmaster muffler... I came to that decision by reading other posts in theforum. My real question is, what are the in/out dimensions of the muffler I need to buy? I am guessing 2.5" or 3" but not sure. Any input?

If i'm going to stick with the single in/single out, would it be 3" in and out then?

And back to my muffler choice, correct me if i'm wrong... the Delta's are quieter on the inside that the Super's right? I have a 15 month old so I want the sould on the outside, not on the inside...

i have the same truck as you do man, and to answer your question ...it can be either 2.5" or 3" in and out, does not matter, just with the either way they have to make the connections for it...so get either.

I also should have asked... center in/out, or center in/offset out, or what? Thanks again for everyone who helps out!

JBA makes a header back exhaust system that I am looking at for my 05 - same one fits the 07 classic, I think they have it for the new body style as well - here is a link
