Default Fan Clutch Torque

I have noticed my A/C was getting warmer at idle and my temp was creeping up a little. I diagnosed my fan clutch as the culprit and bought a new one. I installed it today and used a big adjustable wrench and a hammer to get it off (it is a 5.3 with the screw on fan clutch) and I used the same technique to tighten it. The instructions that came with the fan gave a torque spec for installation. How would you torque this? Also how have you guys installed yours? From what I can see - the way the motor spins helps to keep it tight, but it gives a warning in the instructions that if the fan is not torqued properly it can spin free when shutting the motor off. Any suggestions?

I always just put lock tite and tightened by hand. Its just a precaution when the motor stops turning the nut has a chance of breaking loose. But just a little of the red stuff was good enough.
