Default Few things with my 2000 silverado...

I ran some searches before posting this, but couldnt find what I was looking for...feel free to point me to posts you know of...

2000 silverado, 5.3, 2wd, 140k miles

First:

The keyless entry doesnt work...replaced the battery, still no go. When I was at the dealer a long time ago he got in my truck and did something to make the locks click when he came out it worked for about a month, then stopped again...

Can you tell me how to program my remote, or whatever he did to make it work?

Second:

Is there anyway to replace the individual lights in the stock radio/air controls? I know you can replace the whole unit...but thats obnoxious.

Third:

My seat broke!
I have a captains chair, and something in it broke, so it leans to 1 side...best place to buy a new one? And by best, i mean least expensive, but not ****ty.

Fourth:

Passenger automatic window has gone out on me twice...
I have reapaced the motor unit twice, and it has gone out every time...driver side is totally fine. IS there some other problem that might be causing this window to keep going out? It's out right now, planning on replacing yet again...

Fifth:
Gas pedal sticks
I read its some carbon deposit or something..not sure...can I fix that easily on my own?

I think that's it for now...any help would be nice...

Thank you!

My experience with the window motors are they are junk. I've gone through 2 passenger side and one driver side so far.

To fix the throttle sticking, get some carb cleaner and some rags. Take the intake tube off. There's a butterfly valve that gets varnished up. Spray and wipe everything until it moves freely.

Use throttle body cleaner not carb cleaner.

Second: No there isn't anyway to replace the bulbs. Best bet is to buy an aftermarket radio, most of them sound better and you won't have to worry about broken bulbs again.

Third: Get one out of a junkyard or find someone online who is parting out a truck with the same seats.

Fourth: The window motors suck period. Don't force them especially when its cold outside. Don't lay on the button if it gets stuck. I don't know of any GOOD fix for this other than being careful with it.
