Default Filter at throttle body

Can you connect your air filter(cone) at your throttlebody?


Throttlebody--mass air flow sensor--filter??

You should be able to using some PVC tubing and some ingenuity. The only setback I could possibly foresee would be the intake air might be a little warm being that close to the engine itself. If you can afford it, get a K&N intake, easy to install, and on my 97 k1500 z-71 with the 5.7, I saw 2-3 mpg. Hope this helps.
