Flowmaster question

Flowmaster question
I have a 2011 GMC Sierra, V8 5.3L. I'm thinking about getting flowmasters. What I want is a low, deep sound. However, what I don't want is the really loud noise. I don't want to hear it, or not that much, when I'm in the truck with the windows up. Is flowmasters what I want? If so what kind of flowmasters would you suggest? Also, I've heard that the price has gone way up on flowmasters, anyone have an idea on a price with install? Thanks.

Unless Flowmaster changed it up, the 40 series is the louder 0of tthem. I ran them on my Jeep Cherokee because it is possible the strongest muffler out there. Very heavy duty and sounds great, even on an I-6! I do my on installs so I can't help you on install price but I will say shop around. I found a huge price gap of at least 40 bucks from site to site when I looked around.

I have same truck as you and yesterday, i installed a MBRP Installer system.
sounds low, deep and doesn't belch when you get on it. Small performance increase, but that's not what I did it for.
Took me 1 hour to install... ALONE!
I really like MBRP. They are well made, simple to install and this one was cheap as well.
