I have a 1996 v6 with 4x4. When I engage the 4x4 it will blow the "4x4 fuse" on the side of my dash. The front drive shaft engages but the hubs do not lock. I just had the tires rotated by my local kal tire, could it be possible that they over tourqued the wheels? Are there solenoids that engage my hubs that could be shot?

nah..it has a short somewhere...most likely,the front axle actuator on the differential..

Its always the "shops" fault,isn't it....(just kidding)

 

yeah, I was talking to my mech today, he says that its the coil thats burned out, I looked over all the wiring and it seems to be good. thanks.
