Default Fuel gauge twitching!

I have never seen or heard of this, just started this past friday. I was driving and all of this sudden I noticed that my fuel gauge started to twitch, not much and it still is displaying the correct fuel amount. It only twitches about an 1/32" but it is still noticable, it will stop when you shut it off and let it cool down. But after you start it up again and drive for about 30 mins. it starts twitching again. Any Ideas???????

-BTW Fuel pump was changed about three years ago. Fuel pump is still pumping and making that whining noise.(Normal)

He was probably talking about the ground wire off the fuel pump harness to the frame. If that is corroded at the terminal or if its rusty where it bolts to the frame it might cause that. I have seen a few truck here in new york do that, but i havent heard of a specific cause yet soi would check that ground like he said ands the grounds off the back of the block to the firewall.

My 2000 silverado does the same thing. It has been doing that since Ive owned the truck. Every once in a while when I top off the tank completely it will drop down to E and say low fuel but if you shake the truck it will jump back to Full and the light goes off. I think its probably a fualty fuel sending unit but not worth replacing because the gauge still reads and the truck still runs.
