Alright i have done a good amount of mods to my truck but when i first bough the truck it was stallingwhen turning it on(Nothing nasty i mean no grinding or anything) but it just wouldnt kick right away- ussually on the second or third try it would start. at first i figured it just needed to be serviced so i did all of that- that didnt work so i bought a new fuel pump- worked good for about two months and now i am back to square one again its still stalling- not as much though- does anyone know of anything that might cause my fuel pump to keep going bad or is it something else unrelated -thanks a mil!

 

what year?...Delco pump in it?

 

Yeah Ac delco fuel pump- and its a 2001

 

maybe a burnt connector from the original pump over-drawing...but I'd get the pressure checked before I threw more stuff at it

 

I have a 99 (new body silverado) and mine would start but then cut off right away. this would not happen all the time or for several times and then normal not sure this is what you have but i took it in and it came back with a code that the ignition switch was bad some thing to do with the anti theft fuel pump immoblizer they replaced the switch and everything was good since.
