Default growling sound in trans

i have a 2001 chevy full size the other day i started it and put it in revese and when i shifted to drive it made a bang sound it drives fine and shifts fine but it grows when you are driving it

My guess, U-joints or carrier barring. If it is U-joints, and they fail while driving, a simple repair job could become a major repair bill.

it still does it with drive shaft out it is some thing in trans

Have you done a trans service yet along with changing the filter? Mine did the exact same thing @ 68k miles from the first owner never changing the ATF let alone the other neglegent things hes done to my truck... but besides that I did a trans service immediately and also used some Lucas Stop Slip additive which really helped my tranny hold up with no growls now @ 171k.
