Default Has anyone ever done a seafoam tuneup to their truck?

I did mine a little bit ago when i hit 163,000 miles and the results were pretty good. Including my idle and throttle response
And i heard it creates alot of smoke so i decided to record it and all i could say was wow

sea foam cleanup is to help clean the engine out of gunk and sticky ringsand helps clean out your fuel system also helps remove carbon build up
i just did a sea foam treatment on my brothers 4wheeler actually just got back from it
im thinking about doin it to my truck
as it really probably needs it bad

Basically. You throw 1/3 in the oil to get out moisture but I use prolong because that stuff works wonders. Then you put 1/3 into the gas tank and 1/3 in the brake booster vacuum line.

And if your engine is a bit dirty put 2/3 in the brake booster and the rest in the gas tank then change your oil.

sounds good ill be doin the same thing to my truck next week but i wont be putting some in my oil as money is tight right know and my car is more of a priority as it needs a new relay for the turn signals which coincidently controls power to the ac and heat so as its summer time im sweatin my a** off in it

Seafoam tune up is AWESOME.

My 98 Tahoe:

Ticking lifter at start up had turned into tuicking lifter every second forevahhh
Low oil pressure

I Seafoamed that puppy three times in one week as directed each time.

Gas tank, oil and directly into the engine each time.

Results:

No ticking lifter.
Increased Oil pressure.
Increased fuel economy.
Smoother, more quiet running.

I am a believer.

The one thing I did in addition was start using a K&N oil filter (That helped a lot with the oil pressure which had slipped down bad)

I have to figure out how to do it with a 03 burb and 06 silverado as far as the engine injection is concerned. You have to apply if via the correct vacuum tube...

Seafoam. It works. Period.
