Default Head Gasket Sealants

Anyone had any luck using any of the liquid additives to solve head gasket leaks? Thanks

Well, I was hoping for a temproary fix for a few months until my daughter gets out of college. She has a 1998 Tahoe that has a small head gasket leak that is not affecting the oil.A repair shoprelaced the water pumpwhich they claimed was causing an overheating problem but now they discovered this hairline leak. I was hoping I could get this vechile to limpby until shegets out. Thanks

I don't know, just going by what the shop told her. We are around 400 miles apart so I haven't looked at it. She told me that she keeps an eye on theheatgauge and has to add antifreeze occassionally.
BTW, did you know they can't serve ice water to the LSU football team? They say that the ole boy that had the recipe has graduated.
Thanks
