I bought replacement high beam bulbs for my 2010 Z15, how do I get at the back of the headlamp to replace the bulbs?

Not sure but on my 01 I pull 2 pins out that hold the whole lens in. I think the new ones only have one but not sure.

Unfortunately, the light has to be removed from the truck. There are 2 screws on the top, and two more from the underside- GM's procedure involves removing the tire and fenderwell cover to access. Then there are tabs along the bottom side of the headlight assembl. What a P.I.T.A.

I went ahead and added HID kits into both my low and high beams. The low neams, I could reach the bulbs, but definately not with the high beams- that is when I had to remove them. I sought the procedures from my buddy at the GM dealership. They have it on their system as a 1.5 hour labor rate to change a bulb.

I think the 2 tab, twist and pull system for the headlight removal changed in 2007. My Sierra is an 08, and needs to have the entire light removed as stated above.

is where I purchased my HID kits. I did the low beams, the high beams, the 5202 low beams and a 55 watt kit in my PIAA off road lights on my pushbar.

Im actually going to remove the PIAAs and plan to replace them with LED lights from:

I have the high, lows and fog all in 35 watt kits 6K and the PIAA's in a 55 watt kit 6k also.

Anyone interrested in the PIAA's with the HID kit installed- $250 plus shipping from NJ
I spent $300 for the lights and another $200 for the HID kit. They are PIAA 520 SMR Chrome with this HID kit http://www.retrosolutionsllc.com/ser...VERSION/Detail. They have been barely used since I live in the city and don't get off roading much/at all. I bought them for the look for the bull bar

I also have 1 spare H3 HID capsule included too
