Hey Hunt, did you go through a break in period where your truck is still "learning"?

When does it shift? I just realized yesterday my tranny doesn't shift till like 5700rpm or so when I'm floored. Does it shift sooner than that with the tuned ECU?

I did not per say see a big differents but i have been way busy at work and i just get in my truck and drive and dont think about it right now. Are you going back with the same rear end or are you going to change out the front and back to something bigger?

I am pretty sure that it wasn't called posi, my locking diff in my 98 lost a carrier bearing two years ago. It was cheaper to just replace it with a true posi rear diff. I am REALLY happy with the new diffyou will be able to go places that you would normally have to lock in 4x4 in 2 wheel. However on the ice it really sucks. It will kinda like to slide around corners easier! Locking and posi are different.GM locking diffs have a hook and gear locking mechanism andthe posi that I went with has pressure springs in the middle of the spiders that gives it the locking power.I have found thatI don't feel when it locks and unlocksso much anymore.

Wow. That's sounds fun! Now I wanna posi rear end. I love off-roading my GMC but I've found if you get in mud or deep sand you have to keep it moving pretty quick or you can tell it would definitely get stuck.
