I know i haven't been on here much lately but been busy. I may have posted about this subject already but.......... ya know how 50 year old minds get. I am looking for a front Bow Tie emblem for my '03 Silverado, but i want it "BLACK" as the front of my truck is blacked out during the summer months as i have my headlight covers on, plus the truck being a dark charcoal, i think it will look really good.On ebay, i see alot of different Bow Ties. They have some in there (The 4th item down on the link below), its for '03-'06 Silverado HD 1500's. Will they fit my truck? I just looked at it and it says it fits '03 Silverado 1500 Light Duty, so i would say it will fit. Any feedback would be appreciated. Jim

I actually tried to paint it, but didn't sand it as i figured if i didn't like it, or it came out like chit, i could used mineral spirits to take the paint off. Good thing i did, as i had a couple of boo boos. A buddy of mine is ordering the black emblem from ebay tonite for me. Can't wait to see it with the front all BLACKED out. I'll post a picture when i install it. Jim
